Roman Marx’s hockey career

1982 - 1986 With almost four years after finishing a figure skating course he started playing in a team of his age in the club EV Stuttgart later EC Stuttgart (now Stuttgarter EC).
1986 - 1987 Change to the club ESG Esslingen.
1987 - 1988 Change to the club Heilbronner EC. Appointment to the representative team of Baden-Wuerttemberg which is our province/state.
1988 - 1991 Back to Stuttgart where he became captain of the midget team; same as in Esslingen and Heilbronn. Still a member of the representative team.
1991 - 1995 Change to the Schwenninger ERC (SERC) on request of the manager of the juniors Werner Klatt. During this time he made the 4th place in the highest German Junior league.
1994   In a three months student exchange program, he has played in the Humberside Collegiate in Toronto/Ontario.
1995 - 1998 Change to the ESV Balingen in the 4th division senior team and played at the same time for their juniors. In his last season there he was captain of the 4th division team. Best scorer in the juniors and 5th best scorer in the senior team. He also was assistant coach for the midget team.
Summer 1998   He has played 9 games in Sydney/Australia for the Canterbury Eagles in the Super-League (highest Australian league).
1998 – 1999 Change to EHC Schaffhausen/Switzerland to their 3rd division (farm team league of the Swiss national league A and B) senior semi-professional team.

Romanīs biggest success in hockey:

Three times state-champion with the Schwenninger ERC.

4th place in the German junior championship.

1996 Champion of the 4th division with Balingen.
